AOMORI, Japan - A ''kokeshi'' traditional Japanese wooden doll standing about four meters in height (L) and a lantern resembling one, about 7.6 meters tall, are unveiled at a promotional event in Kuroishi, Aomori Prefecture on Oct. 22, 2010, for the extension of Tohoku Shinkansen bullet train services to the city of Aomori from Tokyo in December.
